LONG NUMBERS:

Long numbers are perfect for addressing the need to gather information from the mobile users (such as sales teams providing daily forecasts) or information requests (such as brochures) without charging the mobile user a premium.  Long numbers are currently available from us with the following countries prefixes.  Contact us if the country you require is not listed – we may be able to source the Long Numbers for you.

The characteristics and features of this service are as follows:

: Mobile users are not charged a premium rate to send messages into Long Numbers.
: Messages may be received from either specific operators or every operator within the country concerned.
: Messages may be received from selected operators outside the country concerned.
: Messages are received by you through our HTTP (to a URL) or SMPP APIs.
: Provisioning of Long Numbers typically takes 1-2 weeks.
: The pricing model comprises of a Connection Fee and a Monthly Fee and a charge for each incoming message – all these variables depend on the country concerned as to whether they exist and if so, what amount.  The first invoice will consist of the Connection Fee and the first 3 months’ monthly fee in advance (again, only if these fees apply).  Any incoming message fees will be charged in arrears.
: A minimum prepayment for mobile terminated messages is required for new clients.

We will provide 2nd line support meaning that we will support you but not support the end / mobile user.

Certain codes of conduct and / or legal guidelines need to be strictly adhered to – the nature of such varies on the country concerned.
